Seasoned artists remain composed and fully in character, even as they navigate multiple role changes. Regardless of age, nobody is exempted from the nonstop fun dancing.
No one is allowed to play stiff and just stand. All of them have to move and participate, never letting the chain of momentum be broken. Altogether, the lively ensemble dances with infectious energy, creating a festive and joyful atmosphere inside the theater.
Their grand costumes speak of grandeur and elegance. While the props seem simple at first, they transform magically as they move. From door animations to stage illusions, the usage of technical elements is clever and refreshing.
Whenever a new trick is unveiled on stage, it never fails to impress. Watching the ghosts and other elements appear in such creative ways is an absolute delight.
Arnel Carrion embodies Ebenezer Scrooge, making his every moment on stage count. He has an authoritative presence, yet he can seamlessly turn that power into something heartfelt and emotional.
Everything Jethro Ting does has a certain charm, effortlessly turning simple moments into magical sparks of happiness. Jasper Jimenez is easily noticeable with his big movements and powerful voice.
Boo Gabunada sets the mood right with his powerful yet whimsical tone, as he introduces the plot and immerses the audience in the world of ghosts. Elian Santos is a talented kid who truly earns every bit of the spotlight on stage. Franco Laurel’s flamboyant energy breathes life into the Ghost of Christmas Past.
It’s a job well done to everyone involved. Even though the narrative progresses abruptly, the ending resonates, capturing the essence of family.
