Nasilip mo ang kagandahan ng virtual reality at ng totoong buhay… Alin duon ang pipiliin mo para maging iyong habambuhay?
Hindi makatotohanan ang ilang mga eksena. Mula sa mga linya at galaw, ramdam mong nanunuod ka ng isang pelikula. Mas binigyang pansin ang hitsura ng mga kuha—kahit minsan ay hindi na ito angkop sa sitwasyon.
Hindi mukhang virtual ang setup. Kapos sa production design. Nakaka-distract ang ilang continuity errors. Makikita mong nakatayo yung karakter tapos sa susunod na eksena ay biglang nakaupo pala siya. Walang edit na magkasama sa iisang frame ang virtual character at ang real-life person para makitang sabay ang kanilang kilos.
Ang konti ng mga scenario pagdating sa virtual dating. Hindi napaglaruan ang iba’t ibang hilig ng tao pagdating sa pakikipagdate. Nakahon lamang ito sa limang pagkatao.
Hindi naipakita kung paano umusad ang date patungong pagmamahal. Hindi rin naibahagi ang magagandang katangian ng ibang karakter para umabot sa puntong sila ay kaya mong panindigan.
Nung natauhan na ang mga karakter, duon nagsimulang gumanda ang pelikula. Ang mga problema ay ginawan nila ng solusyon. Hindi sila naging maramot sa pagbigay ng mahahalagang impormasyon.
One of the characters has Social Anxiety Disorder. The movie didn’t stop in just giving awareness. The struggles, the symptoms, and the treatment are also mentioned.
You can easily sympathize with Jasmine Curtis-Smith. Jerome Ponce properly portrayed his complex character. Diego Loyzaga had emotional outbursts that are convincing. Even though his role is quite ambiguous in the beginning, Vitto Marquez was able to effortlessly deliver a believable performance. Marnie Lapus and Andrea Babierra provided the needed laughs in this romance drama.
This movie offers a different kind of love story that goes beyond two people. They were able to give a fulfilling character arc, serving as the most important element of the story. The core relevance of virtual reality is shared—without discrediting the importance of reality. The last act effectively summarizes the movie’s chosen theme.
Towards the end, the movie gave us a glimpse of its real message that will forever be valuable.
