Karma (2024)
Written & Directed by: Albert Langitan
You are not attached to the fight scenes
because you couldn’t care less to what they are fighting for.
The fight scenes may not be that exciting anymore, but the action was consistently present throughout the movie. The characters may not be that engaging, but the actors made sure to give the needed emotions to every scene.
The visual effects may not be that smooth, but it added more flavor to the scenes. Some blood may look fake, but bloodshed and gore were unapologetically shown.
Despite many shortcomings, they utilized whatever they have to make a decent movie. Their serious commitment to provide an action film didn’t falter.
Hindi kagandahan ang pelikula,
pero hindi rin siya katawa-tawa.
Seryoso ang pagkakagawa.
Dahil sa katinuan na kanilang ipinakita,
Karma na ang bahala sa kanila.
