Love Lockdown (2020)
Directed by: Andoy Ranay, Darnel Villaflor, Noel Escondo & Manny Palo

3 stories about trust are shared amidst the lockdown situation. Trusting a stranger, your neighbor and even your partner are all at risk.
The scenes end up being loosely connected to one another.
You constantly look for details between the characters and their background. What they showed were fragments of information — that don’t form well when viewed as a whole.
Each story lacks proper build-up to establish the needed thrill and tension. The abruptness in its flow creates an uneven experience throughout the movie.
The editing can get bothersome since the camera app feature shows the wrong recording button. Are they even recording in the first place?
They weren’t able to capture what was necessary — despite having a good cast and a noteworthy topic. They weren’t able to give that feeling of uncertainty, despite having a message about trust.
