Slowly, you get to appreciate the kind of relationship that they have.
The beauty of this movie lies on how the characters decide throughout the story. They are chaotic enough to make mistakes. They are mature enough not to hurt anyone but themselves.
It’s the same old story.
But it brought a new kind of sadness.
The ending is the saddest part yet the most optimistic. Bringing pain and hope in one magical scene. Letting you accept both reality and fantasy.
After watching the whole movie, the title “Ngayon Kaya” hits differently as it now talks about more than just a time and a question.
