Shorts & Briefs by Night (2025) consists of 6 plays:

1️⃣ SH*T!
Directed by: Philip Bracero Palmos
Written by: Jeremi Flores
Individually, the actors gave decent acting. But together, intimacy is missing. The sex scenes feel more like a show than a genuine moment. Punchlines are funny, but the discussions and the ending lack impact.
2️⃣ REKLAMASYON HEADQUARTERS
Directed by: Mark Norman Boquiren
Written by: Lewor Sotis
She brings her character to life with her animated portrayal. Sidrey Omer Apita and Jonnel Empinado gave dedicated performances; adding tone variations could make their presentation even more impactful.
More than just a reminder, the show combines sexy comedy with relevant advocacy. From hygiene problems to genital rights, the clever wordplays spark a call to action.
3️⃣ THE RED HOTEL
Directed by: Rye Capulong
Written by: Aeriel Madriaga aka Miss A.
A natural actress, Khaye Paje knows how to carry the scenes and to highlight the right words whenever needed. Warden Malaya could deliver his lines more effectively if he loosened up and relaxed a bit. Nonetheless, his sex appeal fits the role.
Directed by: Tads Obach-Acosta
Written by: John Custer
May chemistry sina Nikki Fruel at Cullen Landicho. Incorporating words describing creatures vs humans is a missed opportunity.
5️⃣ JOSEFINO AT ANG ESTATWA
Directed by: Ingrid Joyce
Written by: Francis Panes
The ending speaks volumes about the roles of men and women. However, the pacing isn’t gripping enough to make that message empowering. The level of suspense didn’t increase. Both leads are good. Accompanied by his unsettling aura, Kiko Mariano’s portrayal is eerily convincing. Rozel Basilio’s acting is intense and believable, making you want to stand up and plead along with her.
6️⃣ WARLA ARENA
Directed by: Tom Navarro
Written by: Tanghalin Tapat
Musical Arrangement by: Vanessa Dulay
May kakayahan itong maging full-length musical at gawin pang mas interactive ang show.
Camp comedy with a dark sexy twist.
