STEAL

STEAL (2021)

Directed by: Bona Fajardo

4 girls steal a valuable item to solve their money problems.

Their motive to commit a crime was weakly established. Their backstory was poorly shared. Their action plan is amateurish.

There’s no chemistry present among the girls. Their characters are very uninspiring.

People keep showing out of nowhere. They suddenly pop up at the end of the street and something abruptly happens. Scenes just appear with no decent flow.

The execution has no life. Even if they are stealing or fighting, you won’t get scared for them. There’s no tension and thrill. There’s no excitement and entertainment.
