They Will Kill You (2026)
Directed by: Kirill Sokolov

From its title alone, the movie already screams campiness. True enough, it didn’t disappoint in delivering hilarious action scenes—quite reminiscent of 𝘑𝘰𝘩𝘯 𝘞𝘪𝘤𝘬 and 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘱𝘰𝘰𝘭.
The choice of camera angles works wonders, making the scenes more engaging and immersive. Zooming in and out are executed in the coolest way possible. Deliberate focus on feces and blood is both laughable and gross.
Editing is sharp and has no abrupt cuts, allowing you to see the full extent of the fight stunts. Cutting off body parts is merely not enough. They have to be squeezed and torn apart piece by piece.
The action outshines the story. It’s not the characters that draw you in, but the abilities they showcase. Even with added backstories, you’re never fully invested in the lore or in the people behind it.
The movie doesn’t seem to care much about its weak points and doesn’t pretend to be something more. They are unapologetic about what they do, bombarding the movie with merciless killing and elevating it with slick cinematography.
Regardless of the circumstances,
they will kill you with sheer vibe and style.
