Bloom Where You Are Planted (2025)
Written & Directed by: Noni Abao

You might expect a documentary about 3 activists to be explosive and loud, but this one’s pleasantly different.
The sceneries remind us of the beauty of living. Relationships are sacred. No matter how often they’re shown, thriving crops are always a better sight than witnessing a life suffering.
The documentary is full of quiet and calm moments. But when they do speak, most answers rekindle a fire—which can also get diffused anytime.
Interviews are scarce. You want to know them more but point of views are limited. Some footages are too long, and most of them can be removed—without compromising the message.
The documentary’s conclusion, highlighted by the finale speech, leaves a lasting impression of how we want to live our lives.
Bago umabot dun, andaming pasikot-sikot.
The documentary plants a seed, but it’s one values and actions that can determine if it’ll bloom or not. Will you take part in its growth?
