Cold Storage (2026)

Directed by: Jonny Campbell

Liam and Joe’s team-up passes by swiftly. Georgina and Joe’s tandem lacks any spark to make it worth following. The rest of the characters feel disposable, practically lined up to die. Yet the ensemble is anything but to die for.

The highly contagious fungus appears powerful and capable of so much more, but it doesn’t fully evolve. It keeps doing the same thing, which makes its presence tiring and boring.

Whenever things start to get exciting, they end up being underwhelming. They love to drag things out with unengaging details and timelines before getting to the main event—which doesn’t arrive.

The scenes are always warming up, but they never reach a true climax. There’s no space for anything explosive.

The film’s full potential remains contained and locked in cold storage.
