Hoppers (2026)
Directed by: Daniel Chong

Funniest animation movie ever to exist. What makes the comedy hit harder is the heart and mind that come with it. If you’re not laughing, you’re either crying or reflecting.
It’s common for an animated movie to be cute and entertaining. But taking it to the next level—by making it informative and educational—is something else. Elevating it further by giving it a darker yet enlightening edge is even more impressive.
𝘏𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴 refuses to settle for simply being good. With every passing scene, it pushes itself further. By the end, it stands out as one of the greatest animated movies of all time—𝘪𝘧 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵.
The humor is top-notch, hopping effortlessly from absurd banter to sharp dark comedy. You’ll find yourself laughing out loud with barely a moment to breathe. Just when you think the jokes are about to end, another one lands. The momentum never falters—all for the right reasons.
Camera angles highlight body movements with impeccable timing, adding another layer of comedy to an already hilarious scene.
Voice acting performances make the humor linger. Before you know it, you’re already mimicking their accents and repeating their lines. The animation is so fluffy and squishy that buying a stuffed toy feels like the only way to handle the cuteness overload.
Beyond its entertainment value, what truly resonates is the overwhelming love for the animals and the community. The story not only moves you to the core, but it also inspires you to act.
The runtime is 1 hour and 45 minutes, yet it feels longer—not in a tedious way, but in a way that reflects its rich narrative. Storyteller Daniel Chong does not let his vision be compromised.
Bold ideas burst while remaining cohesive and purposeful. Character arcs are wide, giving everyone room for growth and redemption. What begins as a personal story grows into a journey that’s larger than life.
The film reshapes not only the landscape of animated cinema but also the way the world should be seen. When change is needed, make a move. Hop if you must.
Hop into theaters nearest you. It’s not every day the big screen is blessed with an animated film that excels in every way possible.
