Monster (2023)
Directed by: Hirokazu Kore-eda
When you think of monsters,
what do you see?
This film humbles you.
Take a step back. In a society where everyone likes to say a lot of things, try to listen. Instead of judging, make an effort to understand.
The film provided different perspectives and meanings, but the direction never got lost. It only leads you to the truth. The truth about the world is painful to see, but learning what to do with it can set you free.
The ending is both painful and freeing. It makes you feel happy and sad. The tears will cleanse not only your eyes but also your soul. The journey of 𝘔𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 has come full circle. You can see things clearly now.
When you think of monsters,
what do you see?
