The movie’s beauty lies on its all-nurses cast and the message they collectively carry, as they share their life experiences, teachings, and advocacies.
Hindi kailangan umarte ng mga artista rito, dahil sila talaga ay mga totoong nurse. Ramdam mong alam nila ang kanilang ginagawa sa tuwing may nangyayaring sakuna o trahedya sa pelikula. Malinaw rin ang pagbigkas nila sa mga mahahalagang salita.
Although sometimes, their movements can get too stiff and their dialogues can get too formal—even on some conversations that should have been laidback and casual.
Most scenes are literally dark. The cinematography and the shots need more life.
Mahaba ang mismong pelikula, pero ang kaunti ng mga naipapakita. May mga karakter na mahalaga pala, pero hindi mo naman sila gaanong nakilala.
Madaming taon ang lumipas, pero isa o dalawang kaganapan lang ang meron kada taon. May mga eksenang nawawala, at may mga nangyayari na lang bigla. Patalon-talon ang mga eksena, at hindi maganda ang pagkakatahi nito.
Hindi mo alam kung hanggang saan aabot ang kanilang istorya. Kahit anong oras ay pwedeng matapos ang pelikula, dahil maya’t maya ay nagpapakita sila ng mga tagumpay sa buhay na mala-ending na ang datingan… Pero hindi pa pala tapos.
The movie is comparable to a set of tribute videos made for and by the nurses. The message is straightforward. The people are passionate. The intentions are pure and sincere.
But these factors can’t uplift the whole movie.
Hindi sapat ang kalinga para sagipin ang pelikulang ito.
