SINE SINDAK 2025

ree

🕯 1978

Without a compelling lead character, the movie struggles to engage. A more defined narrative would've made the ending more impactful. Its shortcomings are temporarily compensated by gruesome monsters and endless tortures.

👁 HIDDEN IN THE DARK

This movie should have been hidden in the dark. Lots of scenes that’ll keep you yawning instead of screaming. Expect overloaded sound effects, abrupt flashbacks, unexpected sexual tension, and the nonchalant vs OA lead characters.

⚰️ NEAR DEATH

Nakakabahala ang ginawa nilang ending. Sensitibo ang kanilang paksa, ngunit hindi naingatan kung paano nila ito talakayin. The concept about the 𝘕𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘋𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩 experience isn’t fully explored, only leading to a 𝘕𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘚𝘭𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 movie experience. Read full movie review here.

🥩 NO TEARS IN HELL

Based on a true story, the movie focuses on a Russian serial killer who is barely given time to introduce himself. Instead of giving character insights, the story drags on—merely showing killings and cannibalism. Even though disturbing, it can easily get so boring because the scenes are repetitive and the characters are lifeless. The end credits have more to say than the whole movie alone. What’s really disturbing here is how they fail to give any meaningful insight to a shocking story—treating it like an exploitation of the case than exploration of the character.

🏠 PUSH

The suspect is right there, waiting to be killed. Yet they are playing nonstop hide and seek, touring and circling around the house. There’s too many delaying tactics just to make the movie longer, yet the story is not pushing forward. Any information about the characters is useless.

👹 THE FETUS

The movie kicks off with a torn condom that eventually leads into another. The plot keeps evolving. Surrounded by outrageous characters, cheap prod design and hilarious visual effects, they are becoming more funny than scary. Never taking itself seriously, the movie turns itself into an entertaining watch.

SINE SINDAK 2025 runs from October 29 to November 4 exclusively at SM Cinemas nationwide. ₱150 per movie ticket and ₱300 for an All-Day Pass.
