SMURFS

Smurfs (2025)

Directed by: Chris Miller

A group of frustated comedians is probably the best way to describe Smurfs. They keep on throwing daddy jokes out of nowhere.

Instead of giving a cinematic experience, this movie shows a playlist of random comedy sketches that are best uploaded on YouTube for Kids.

Contrary to the cool animation, the songs are forgettable. Most characters are just there to say a punchline or two. Some scenes can give a few seconds of laughter, but as a whole, it fails to be an entertaining and engrossing watch.

The plot looks decent at first, but it got derailed into infinity of chaos and senselessness. There’s almost no story to follow.

Losing focus and direction, this movie turns into a lame acid trip—making you feel blue of its mere existence.
