THUNDERBOLTS*

Thunderbolts* (2025)

Directed by: Jake Schreier

Skeptical at first about how this team would live up to its predecessor. Comparisons are inevitable. Despite showcasing their skills, it seems to be not enough. Their best is still weak.

Eventually, that weakness becomes a strength. They’ve embraced their flawed nature and use it as a weapon against enemies. Their power extends beyond the standard norms. It now becomes apparent what they can uniquely bring to the game.

From unwanted personalities to valued members, each one of them managed to earn a place in the group. Their chemistry is gradually building up, forming a strong family unit. Teamwork is on full display.

Individually, their efforts look small and insignificant. But together, it creates a bigger impact.

While action scenes are scarce, comedy and drama fill the gap. More punchlines than actual punches. More emotions than action. Just when you think that emotions aren’t enough, then think again.

This film strikes directly through the heart. Human aspect of the character resonates. It may differ from the usual superhero mold, but they breathe the same air as everyday people. None of them can fly, but being grounded is what sets them apart.

𝘛𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘣𝘰𝘭𝘵𝘴* has successfully reignited the excitement for what’s about to come. The buzz about the asterisk is worth the hype.

Finally, the Marvel franchise is now recharged.
