The master of psycho-horror, Sid Lucero excels in playing characters who hide their vulnerabilities behind a tough facade. Bea Binene’s face may look sweet and innocent, but it can also convey a sense of fear and longing.

Because of their acting performances, the message is relayed. The psychological aspect that runs beneath the reel is seen. Listening to the characters’ voices while they’re watching a silent movie creates a good contrast.

It’s ironic that the jobs of the characters are editors, yet the scenes could’ve benefited more with better editing and music. Instead of amplifying the scary situation, it’s being toned down. The vibe that the trailer gives is far from the final output.

Regardless of whether the film is classified as a horror, drama, or psychological, the main problem is its weak and flat execution—failing to intensify the scenes whenever needed.

From production to posthouse,

the film needs finer tuning.
